The Story Behind ‘Blog A Bog’
Our first ‘Blog A Bog’ post!
We came across the idea and thought it would add a bit of humour and an informative view of public lavatories we have visited on our travels and days out.
We’ve been lucky enough to have visited quite a few places (mainly in Europe), and public toilets can often be a nerve-wracking place to visit! Will it be open? Is there any toilet roll? Is there any soap and water? Has it been cleaned in the past year?
So be it in a restaurant, pub, supermarket or village square, follow us for a bit of ‘toilet humour’!
Castleford, West Yorkshire
Our first Blog A Bog comes from Junction 32 Shopping Outlet in Castleford, Yorkshire. This is an outdoor shopping outlet which we visited on the evening of the 21st December on a rainy, cold evening.
The ladies toilets appear to be new or newly reburbished. These particular ones were next to Marks and Spencer. The décor was modern and the facilities clean. There was plenty of toilet roll, soap and hot water.
Overall, in excellent condition. Definitely not one to dread if you’re caught short shopping in Castelford!!
